If i think again, way way back ago, my fave charas had always been the twisted-psychi type. Like Soujirou in Rurouni Kenshin, Fuji Syuusuke in TeniPuri, then now... it's Sylar and Elle from Heroes. I wonder what's wrong with me. I even felt sorry and pitied them, and I love them. Maybe because I think, even though they have had bad pasts, they still are human, have feelings and somehow searching for redemption. Maybe most people will not and don't want to accept them. But in a way, they're trying to find a way in this world to get accepted. They crave for acceptance, to feel that they belong there, even only to a person, that's enough for them.
Afraid of coming out and tell the other what they really are, what they've done. To be accepted without being judged. To accept forgiveness and to forgive themselves.
How similar is it to my life...

It's,been along time that I posted in livejournal. Have been busy at facebook this few months. But then I find out that facebook can't have more than 320 / 420 characters in one status update, so here I am, coming back here to get the freedom to type as many as I like.

Since now, I'm using Samsung Star which can handle more than 5200+ characters in a go, I think, i can type and post more frequent to livejournal.

i'm sleepy right now, so maybe tomorrow i'll start to post something more worth reading...

even though my LJ audiences are different with my FB friends, i still love to post.....

so yeah. oyasuminasai minna sama. good night

I was thinking of re-watching Narnia 2 for the 4th times. But I almost memorize most of the scenes. XD thankfully not the dialouges, that means I'm rewatching too much already.
Then I was thinking of BBC'S Pride and Prejudice. But then I couldn't find the CDs. XD did I throw it away?? XD LOL.
maybe I shouldn't have use this spare time to do some re-run.
/Off to look for something else to do.

I was thinking that I've ever seen somebody with that kind of stripes clothing. Then I remember that I ever seen Zachary Quinto (Sylar) photographed using that similar stripes clothing. And When I see them (Jackson and Zachary) actually they are quite similar. I mean, when I liked an actor, usually I fell for their glare. LOL. Even Sylar had that murdering glare, and Jasper had that too. Hmmm.... this is dangerous.
But then, they can actually flash out those ANGELIC and SWEET smile. *doh* Scarrrryyyyyyyyyy.....

Disclaimer:

I’m nobody. I never meet Jackson Rathbone. I don’t know Jackson Rathbone’s history. I’m writing this only for fun and because I can’t stop thinking about “What could possibly be in his mind all this time”. So, everything here is very un-fact-based, since I only know Jackson since I saw “Jasper – Alice Interview about Cullen Crest” which made me went “Wow! There must be something about him!”. I’m sorry for mixed timeline, different character and personality interpretations, and everything because of my lack of information—and I’m quite lazy to research before I started to jott down my thoughts about this. Oh, and this fic may be counted as one of my first fic. So, I hope you like it. Thanks!

Slipping Off – Chapter 1 : Reading

The room seemed daunting but challenging. I can hear people buzzing inside—nervous, excited, hopeful, and anticipating. I can see some faces that I knew, some from previous casting experience, the other are ones that I knew just from the magazines and some other are just people who mingles when I usually attend those party events.

It’s another chance to appear in the movie. My manager has been so good that he can get me into this role. I’ve been in the casting for Edward. Well, he is the main character in this story, who doesn’t want to try for the Lead Actor? But I think, I’m just not the apple, because I’m the orange—you know what people say when you’re applying for a job and was rejected “You don’t have to be sorry for yourself. It’s not your fault. It’s just because they’re searching for an apple and you, you are an orange.” So, here I am, Jackson Rathbone, coming to the set of Twilight not to play as Edward Cullen—the apple—, but as Jasper Hale—the orange.

“Hello there! You must be Jackson Rathbone!”

“Yes, I am. Hello, nice to meet you.” I flashed my best smile to this lady who looked somewhat familiar to my mind. Hm… she is the director of this movie, her name is…

“I’m Catherine,” ahh.. yeah, that’s her name, “your director for this movie.”

“Jackson. Nice to meet you too, Catherine. I hope we are all ready for our first reading?” Why is it that my tone falters a bit at the end of my sentence?

I think I’m ready for this. I’ve been doing my job for some years now and the reading session is not a big deal. People who are doing the same scene will be grouped and then we’ll start reading our dialogue. We’ll toss around our interpretation of our character, read the dialogue, got corrected, try it again, got corrected, try it and got corrected again. This time will be almost the same like those previous reading sessions.

Catherine is a nice person. Her pale skin and her somewhat solemn face doesn’t seem to fit with her fiery passion when she rattles on her idea about what’s in her mind about this movie going to be like: Intense. She wants this movie to grab the audience’s breath. Interesting. I keep on listening to her ideas and agreeing with her here and there as we walk to the middle of the room.

It’s my first reading session being Jasper, but certainly it’s not the first session for several persons there. I can see the girl who plays Bella—Kristen Stewart—has already been here and doing her reading session several times. She looked, how should I describe her? She looked pale, spiritless, consumed by her thoughts. Hm, she’s really into her role already.

She’s discussing her own line with the other guy on the table. From what I can hear of their conversation, it’s not the ‘line’ they’re discussing; it’s their ‘eyes communication’. I’ve read the novel—it’s a must for an actor to read the source of the movie—and I know the scarcity of dialogues Bella has in the book. Bella speaks a lot in her mind. And the most eyes communications she’ll be having is with Edward.

That guy must be Robert; he is the lucky guy who got the role for Edward. He certainly is younger than me—of course he is, I’m cast as Edward’s brother-in-law so I have to be older, nope, more mature than Edward. He looked pale, too. How many pale-skin persons am I going to meet here? Ah,—I checked myself—I will be meeting with more of them, we are playing as vampires after all.

Catherine already went to sit between Kristen and Robert to join their discussion. I have to show my professionalism and friendliness here—I don’t want to feel like an outsider. I smiled and started, “Hello Kristen. Hello Robert. I’m Jackson. I’ll be playing Jasper, your brother-in-law, or so to speak.”

Kristen replies me with a quick ‘hello’ and ‘how are you’, several queries about myself being ready or not and whether I’ve met the other casts or not. I reply with the common courtesy and friendliness I’ve used for everybody. Catherine immediately cuts in and introduces me again to Kristen and Robert—common courtesy I guess or maybe she’s just trying to build bridges and connections among all the casts. I’m sure she wants everybody to get the perfect chemistry needed for this movie.

Robert joins in the conversation. He starts with how happy he is to see one of his Cullen families here. He already met with Carlisle, Esme, and Rosalie before. They are gorgeous actors and actresses, they’ve just went out for a while to get coffee. He likes coffee and asks if I like coffee, too. Complains that the weather is so un-sunny, doesn’t really like it, but it’s good for the filming. And finally asks whether I’ve met with my supposed-to-be-vampire-wife yet.

He really amazes me. His train of thoughts is like messy, bouncing and unusual. His choices of words make me smile a bit. He really is still young. Several years’ difference in age and experience does make a different.

Before I answer his last question, Carlisle, Esme and Rosalie joins us. They came back from the coffee shop with six extra cups of coffee for the rest of the casts. Upon noticing a new face in the group, Carlisle smirked and said, “Well, I think being a vampire whose one of the family member has the ability to fore-see the future, I can see that our extra cups of coffee will not be put to waste.”

Everyone laughs and me too. I find Carlisle to be a good ice-breaker person. Being the most senior actor and father in the Cullen family, he sure knows how to connect with people. I can already feel the right chemistry with my vampire-dad.

I’m starting to feel comfortable now. Everybody seems excited and eager to do our reading. I don’t get too many lines though, but I still get the appearances on the screen. Most of my scenes are to be shot together with the other Cullens: Cafeteria scenes, Parking Lot, the Van Smash, Cullens house, the baseball game, runaway and vampire slaying scenes.

Speaking of appearances, Jasper always has his scenes with Alice—his wife. And to answer Robert’s last question: “No, I haven’t met Ashley Greene on the set yet.”

Ashley is going to play as Alice. I’ve done some research on her—well, I think a good background research of a partner may increase the possibility of getting a good chemistry in the movie. She has been doing movies, commercials, and TV series. She loves her family. Close friend with Kellan Lutz, who plays as Emmett—I’ve met Kellan several times in other auditions. And to top all of that her lovely but sharp face is combined with clear eyes which seem to hold a treasure bound to be found.

I wonder how we will work together. She seemed to be the kind of girl who is serious in doing her work. That’s good. But as far my research goes, she has long hair—I wonder will she cut her hair for this role. Some girls may have obsession about their hair. That will be interesting to see.

“Ash, that guy might be your partner in this story. He looked like that Rathbone guy,” I heard somebody mentioned my name behind my back. That makes me stop thinking about my own research and observation. I turned myself toward the source of that voice.

“Kellan Lutz! I knew I’ve heard that voice before,” I shake hand and bump our shoulder—man styles.

“Finally you’re here, Jackson. We’ve been roaming around the set to find where Ashley’s partner in this movie is. Ain’t we?” Kellan winked at the girl just right behind him. I know who she is, I’ve done research.

She smiles a bit and I swear I can see something is playing in her eyes, and then suddenly she said, “You’ve kept me waiting a long time.”

“I’m sorry ma’am”.

This is going to be a very good reading session.
